The Sunday morning group is meeting at Wheeler Farm this Sunday, September 21, 2014. The address is 6351 S 900 E. We will run the farm and neighborhoods, then go to the farmer's market. Feel free to join us, we have a variety of paces including walkers.
It's that time again: I'll soon be assembling the Fall issue of the Club newsletter, The Runner's Pulse, and I'm looking for contributions.
Do you have a race report to share? A favorite route? An energy-rich-snack recipe? How about a humorous (or poignant) running anecdote? And let's not forget photos! Send me your content by September 23 for consideration.
Related note: I'll be stepping down as newsletter editor after this issue. If you'd like to take the reins -- or know someone who might be interested -- please let me know.
Thanks, as always,
SLC Track Club Newsletter Editor
This Thursday we will meet at City Creek Canyon parking lot -The plan is to do the City Creek trail which starts at City Creek Canyon and is a 6 mile out and back. It follows the canyon road. It is relatively flat, with some small inclines. There are no steep inclines or declines on the trail itself, but since it follows the road, if someone likes to, they can just run the road. See you there !! --- To access the City Creek Canyon parking lot, head to the Avenues, From South Temple, drive up B St. At B and 11st, the road becomes Bonneville Rd and is now one way. Turn right onto Bonneville. The Canyon is the first asphalt right (about 1/2 mile from B and 11th, where road becomes one way). The parking lot is on the right hand side before the ranger station. If you reach the capitol, you have gone too far.
Weekly run, Sunday, September 21, 8:00 am Special location: this run will meet at Wheeler Farm, 6351 S 900 E. We'll run the farm and neighborhoods, then go to the farmer's market. Feel free to join us -- we have a variety of paces including walkers.

The Salt Lake City Track Club is a proud member of the Road Runners Club of America.
We thank XMission, the region's best ISP, for donated web hosting.
The Salt Lake City Track Club is an athletic organization that provides for the association of persons interested in personal health and wellness through the activity of running. The Club's primary focus is distance running, but all types of runners are welcome. Volunteerism is also strongly promoted and is an essential component of the Club. As an athletic organization, we organize, promote, and support Club sponsored races and training runs that provide opportunities for runners to associate and compete. In addition, we support fitness in the community through support of children's and high school running events throughout the Salt Lake City area as well as volunteer efforts at selected local races. Our activities are dedicated to promoting the welfare of the Club membership and the Utah running community. Click Here To Join.
